Status Update

Being a realist is so much more energy efficient... If you don't care for anybody, you don't waste time caring for others and you can focus all of your energy on yourself...

But still I wouldn't wish for one second to go back. I sleep even less now than before (20 hours from Sunday to Friday are already a lot) and I do stuff like sleeping in the office. But I have people that I can count on, I can do so many things that I love to do. There are actually even to many opportunities in my life. I had to cut down on some unfortunately. But others I can live to the fullest.

I had crazy talks these days, people coming up to me telling me things that I wouldn't have dreamed they would tell me. People acting completely different. I feel kinda walking on a sunny day through a field full of golden flower, birds singing and butterflies all over the place. It is beautiful my life, and I am more than glad for the fact that I can live a life like this.

Thank you to all of you who made my life so brilliant...
Stef

stay the way you are and treat the people the way you want to. the obsession that you want them to be happy around you might make others a bit uncomfortable.
putting too much "focus" (as you say it) on them, without them wanting it, has bad results...
all these articles of status update and the one down shows a little one sidedness of the picture... you should see what the other person is going through, how much of interaction he or she wants, how much of appreciation he or she is seeking or has been given.
sometimes its fault of nobody... and the situations get out of hand because we dont have a balance between what is expected and what we get out of a relationship. being a bit open and compromising always helps....

you're a good friend and will be... just be the way you are stop thinking alot about how you should make people happy... instead think about how you can be happy while being around them and everyone is going to be fine.
